Always spray cool grill rack with non-stick cooking spray before heating grill so that food will not stick. Remember to never spray a hot grill.

Check meats for doneness with an instant-read meat thermometer.

Cook vegetables sprayed with non-stick cooking spray in foil packets or directly on the grill. Season with salt and pepper and your favorite blend of spices or fresh herbs.

Try grilling corn right in the husk. Remove the silk, but not the husk, and then soak for about an hour in a sink or bucket filled with cold water. Shake off excess water before placing on a hot grill. Cook for about 25 minutes, turning three or four times. Serve in the husk with plenty of butter and salt.
